Our Client in Gravette, AR is seeking an experienced and dedicated Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) to join our team (New Grads Welcome!). The ideal candidate will perform high-quality echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and stress echocardiograms, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. This position is critical for maintaining seamless weekend operations and ensuring exceptional patient care. Compensation: $35 – 40/hour Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities: • Perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms as ordered by physicians. • Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. • Operate and maintain echocardiographic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. • Collaborate with cardiologists to review and interpret echocardiographic images. • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols during all procedures. • Stay current with advancements in echocardiography and cardiac imaging techniques. • Assist with other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, if qualified and required. • Provide excellent patient care and respond to patient questions professionally and empathetically. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology or diagnostic medical sonography program. • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required. Skills and Abilities: • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiographic techniques. • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting echocardiography equipment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently during weekend shifts. • High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
