Job Summary: The Practical Nurse will work in the Burns Intensive Care Unit (BICU) at SSMC, providing essential nursing care to patients with severe burns. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to support patient recovery and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care in the Burns Intensive Care Unit (BICU). - Monitor and assess patients' conditions and report changes to the medical team. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Assist with wound care and dressing changes for burn patients. - Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Educate patients and families on burn care and recovery processes.
